I received this email from Reader David:
Good call Bella! Things are really starting to click for me, letting some plays work over the course of 1-3 days has been where I have been making most of my $. IMAX was a good example last week, i caught 4 points over the course of a week. And this MGM I got long yesterday at 11.31 and added today above 12..Currently up about 8% on that 1..I am getting to the point where I have enough to trade my own $……..As always, thanks for the advice..I started this journey 2 years ago on my own, and have never had any one whom I can get quality advice from. My P&L goal for 2010 was to make 75k, up from 50k last year. 3 months into the year I have already hit that goal. I don’t want to get too ahead of myself, but do I now re-write my P&L goals and set the bar higher? Again, thank you very much for the advice – I really appreciate it!
Very well done reaching your goals so quickly! It has not gone unnoticed by this author how hard you work and your commitment to reach out to others for ideas on trading progress. The reason why you hit these goals so early may be that you were so willing to find ways to get better. Very well done David!
It is time now for you to tear up those goals and write some new ones. One of the great things about working hard, trying to get better everyday, working on your game, is that one day you might wake up and be so much better than you ever thought you would be. This is the gift of hard work.
When setting your new goals consider the process. What things do you need to do everyday that will make you better, allow you to be in more excellent risk/reward opportunities- with more size that you can handle?
Congratulations on your success. It was well deserved!
