Let me see if I can understand the thesis behind your trade. Stock gapped down (bad fundamental news), support was broken. Now, during this battle between the bulls and bears, what made you comfortable that the battle was won by the bears? By what the tape was saying, or strictly by a break of a certain price level combined with volume? What timeframe chart did you establish this on?
Last, how do you trail your stops? I often find during breakouts/breakdowns that you get smacked around a lot, so how do you determine the right breathing room?
