  1. Saw him live when he was with Whitesnake. I suck at trading breakouts to the long side…not my strength…so according to his advise “don´t bother with your weakness” I should let them be. Should concentrate on my streghths…breakouts to the downside, and fades.

But are what I perceive to be my stregths just what I feel psychologically comfortable with? And is doing what you are comfortable with statistically positive?

I suppose there is a “correct” statistically positive way to trade each and every type of setup and if you are truly good at these, your strengths, you should stick to them even when/if the number of setups which you are weak at are more numerous.

Just thinking out loud. Nice post thkxs. JPO

  2. I have been playing the piano since I was 14 years old. I recently got interested in trading. After reading this blog, I realize that it is possible to become an elite trader – considering that I practiced a lot to become a really good pianist. Thank you for this. It gives me hope.

  3. Truly inspiring. He made me just realize that anyone can be elite at what they do. The only thing that separates you from “one of the greats” is dedication, hard work, sacrifice, and mental toughness. We are all essentially made from the same goop…brains, flesh, and blood. It’s how you choose to use them.
