Screen Recorder
We ask for you to review your work after the close and to replay your best trades. One of the best ways to do that is by recording your daily trading using the screen recording software. Below are instructions for downloading and using the program (steps 1-5 are only required once for installation and configuration):
1. If you do not have the software installed in your computer. Visit http://www.deskshare.com/msr.aspx, download and install the program in your computer
2. Once installed please ask GMAN for a license number (if you trade on our desk. Remote traders are asked to purchase their own license.)
3. Start the program and click on the Region button (third big button located on the top left)
4. Click on Fixed Dimensions.
5. Check the “Fixed starting point” checkbox and click on “Select” button. Now select the areas in your desktop that you will like to record going forward and click okay when done.
6. To use the recorder simply click on the “Record” and “Stop” buttons. Save whatever videos you think are worth keeping.
Important note: the videos generated for a day’s worth of trading are HUGE in size (about 2Gb). Thus you should consider saving only the videos of the best plays. Consider going through your old videos every now and then and erase those that you no longer watch. It will help your computer system run stably.
