From time to time I get an email from a trader whose results were awful. \u00a0They might say:<\/p>\n

Bella,<\/p>\n

I had my worst day ever. \u00a0I sized up and got crushed.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Or<\/p>\n

Bella,<\/p>\n

I had my worst day ever. \u00a0I took my biggest rip ever.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Or<\/p>\n

Bella,<\/p>\n

I had my worst day ever. \u00a0I got stopped out on one trade. \u00a0I stink.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Often I continue reading and their analysis is spot on. \u00a0They made a mistake here and there but since we focus on the process this was not an awful trading day. \u00a0The result was but often they did so much right that this conclusion is an overreaction.<\/p>\n

For all of you who have written to me about your worst trading day, \u00a0here is a true I Had My Worst Day Ever:<\/p>\n

Bella,<\/p>\n

I had my best trading day ever. \u00a0I am so the man. \u00a0I put up 2k in three hours of work and then spent the rest of the day living the life.<\/p>\n

I was out pretty late last night. \u00a0Seeing a new young lady. \u00a0We have one of those it’s really good when it’s good and really bad when it’s bad relationships. \u00a0Last night was really good. \u00a0I rolled in at 9:29, still a little hung over but able to see my screens. \u00a0Fade Trader to my left was chirping about NFLX so I punched that up. \u00a0Money Master then called out BIDU and switched over to that. \u00a0 BIDU is going down hard soon and I have been waiting to go All In with a short. \u00a0BIDU held the offer a bit on the Open and I went for it. \u00a0“Go Big or Go Home,” right? \u00a0I got short 3k shares.<\/p>\n

That young lady that I just started seeing shot me a gchat. \u00a0She was coming into the city around noon for a job interview at Ralph Lauren and was hinting about taking her to lunch. \u00a0I told her we would see but she is smokin so I started thinking about finding a way. \u00a0BIDU crumbled during my gchat. \u00a0I covered into a two point down, pocketed 2k, and exalted, “whose the big winner today Mikey?” \u00a0It was 9:40.<\/p>\n

I shot a text message to my girl and told her lunch was on me at Serafina. \u00a0I had a few hours to kill. \u00a0I checked out some movie times in case lunch led to something more. \u00a0I shot out a slew of emails to my buddies about our weekend at Killington. \u00a0Watched “The Office” on Hulu. \u00a0Told Money Master and Fade Trader all about my new girl. \u00a0Heard about the one that Fades is trying to land. \u00a0He really has to step up his game in the ladies department. \u00a0Shut down my screens and headed out to enjoy the rest of the day.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
