It’s a book of insight and value for the trading community and a work written by a pro’s pro for future pro’s pros. Thank you,\u00a0Q<\/a>! So what’s inside?<\/p>\n

Q shines a light on the differences between anticipatory and reactionary trading, weighing the pros and cons to such strategies, while imploring traders to determine the best strategy for themselves. Q also shares the importance of setting a stop based on whether or not the trade is still valid, as opposed to a stop based on a certain percentage of the actual position.<\/p>\n

Further, Q smoothly handles the challenging teaching subject of being consistent on your trading time frame. Tatro preaches from his trading seat: stick to your time frame throughout the trade. Failing to do so will manifest unnecessary losses, as well as drain your mental capital. Amen!<\/p>\n

And finally, there’s the why of Trade the Trader<\/em>. The point Tatro<\/a> delivers is that the investing community is much more sophisticated when compared to ten years ago. This is the age of Twitter, our family at StockTwits, the new next Internet, and powerful trading tools for all. These days information is in your pocket, on your coffee table, on an airplane. The key is properly interpreting how this democratizing\u00a0of data will affect the trading decisions of the masses.<\/p>\n

As always the goal of a trader is to be ahead of the curve. After reading Trade the Trader<\/em>, it’s clear that Quint Tatro is. More importantly, he has done awesome work explaining how we can be ahead of the curve as well. The end result is that through deliberate hard work one can begin to \u201cexpect gains and not be surprised by them.\u201d<\/p>\n
