{"id":44495,"date":"2016-10-20T12:02:18","date_gmt":"2016-10-20T16:02:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.smbtraining.com\/blog\/?p=44495"},"modified":"2016-10-25T10:23:24","modified_gmt":"2016-10-25T14:23:24","slug":"trading-bigger-is-much-easier-than-trading-with-edge","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.smbtraining.com\/blog\/trading-bigger-is-much-easier-than-trading-with-edge","title":{"rendered":"Trading bigger is much easier than trading with edge"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/cPZ6YN4GPYI\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Trading bigger is much easier than trading with edge.<\/p>\n<p>I am working with a developing trader, nearing 15 months of live trading.\u00a0 He is starting to trade with edge.<\/p>\n<p>I am seeing 3\/5 days of trading profitably.<\/p>\n<p>I am noticing in his reviews a specificity of setups that he is trading.\u00a0 He is not trading for stocks to finish higher or lower for the day.\u00a0 He is trading for a stock to trade lower or higher from a given point with specific variables.\u00a0 This is the essence of short term trading.\u00a0 He gets it.<\/p>\n<p>I am noticing a nice string of $600-700 days, with an occasional 1kplus day.<\/p>\n<p>I am noticing this trader trading withing his guardrails.\u00a0 We call trading below your intraday stop, trading within your guardrails.<\/p>\n<p>And recently I have noticed a thirst to be trading bigger in his best setups.\u00a0 You might say a thirst too great.\u00a0 But this is common.\u00a0 I see this with retail and new and developing traders in my inbox and chats with them on the road.\u00a0 It highlights an important teaching moment for developing traders.<\/p>\n<p>Oh if they just understood how much more important it is to trade with edge than to trade big.\u00a0 Oh trading with edge is soooo much harder.\u00a0 I cannot think of a trader we have developed to trade with edge, who failed to develop into a bigger trader.\u00a0 However, we have had many traders who failed to ever develop edge, while training with us.<\/p>\n<p>Man if you can trade 3\/5 days profitably.\u00a0 If you know your setups best for you in specificity.\u00a0 If you can trade within guardrails.\u00a0 That is one powerful place to be in as a trader.\u00a0 We can get you bigger from here.\u00a0 You really have a chance to be a pro trader from here.<\/p>\n<p>Trading your best setups bigger is so much easier than discovering and executing in real-time on setups with trading edge.<\/p>\n<p>*no relevant positions<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Trading bigger is much easier than trading with edge.
