{"id":18552,"date":"2012-04-21T08:50:33","date_gmt":"2012-04-21T12:50:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.smbtraining.com\/blog\/?p=18552"},"modified":"2012-04-21T08:50:33","modified_gmt":"2012-04-21T12:50:33","slug":"what-behavior-should-a-prop-firm-reward","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.smbtraining.com\/blog\/what-behavior-should-a-prop-firm-reward","title":{"rendered":"What behavior should a prop firm reward?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>After the close one day this week I encouraged our traders to CALL OUT awesome potential trading opportunities. \u00a0Shark called out SXCI into one close and the firm and individual traders caught a very profitable trade. \u00a0I got our Floor Manager into ILMN for an opening drive play at the start of the week. \u00a0He sent me an email of thanks. \u00a0The trader to my right got me into GILD on Thursday for a solid trending short trade. \u00a0Of course then there was GMan who got us all into HGSI. \u00a0Ripper \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>The highlights of my talk went like this:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>If you are shy, don&#8217;t be<\/li>\n<li>If you talk in a low voice, speak up<\/li>\n<li>Don&#8217;t be scared to call something out and be wrong<\/li>\n<li>Call outs make us all more money<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Back in the day if you had an awesome position and you didn&#8217;t call it out, good luck to you. \u00a0No seriously, you would get a good talking to by other guys on the floor.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;WTH did you not call that out?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The younger generation of traders loves to chat (share ideas via a chat) but not call out their ideas. \u00a0 Most trading floors sound like a church.
