{"id":17084,"date":"2012-02-08T11:54:37","date_gmt":"2012-02-08T16:54:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.smbtraining.com\/blog\/?p=17084"},"modified":"2012-02-08T11:54:37","modified_gmt":"2012-02-08T16:54:37","slug":"make-this-losing-trade-yum","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.smbtraining.com\/blog\/make-this-losing-trade-yum","title":{"rendered":"Make this losing trade (YUM)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.smbtraining.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/02\/yum.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-17083\" title=\"yum\" src=\"http:\/\/www.smbtraining.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/02\/yum.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"578\" height=\"374\" srcset=\"\/\/www.smbtraining.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/02\/yum.gif 723w, \/\/www.smbtraining.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/02\/yum-300x194.gif 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 578px) 100vw, 578px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Yesterday in YUM I made One Good Trade which was One Losing Trading.\u00a0 On the open YUM settled in a battle 64.80 by 65.\u00a0 Young Leo called out the fight and I took notice.\u00a0 Also YUM was In Play showing premarket strength and gapping up.\u00a0 YUM broke above the opening range battle and shot up to 65.70.\u00a0 This was a very nice move to all time highs. \u00a0\u00a0 I was interested in buying the pullback.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">YUM pulled back and found a buyer at 65.50.\u00a0 I bought more.\u00a0 An explosive upmove and then a shallow pullback matched with a buyer on the tape is one of my favorite intraday patterns.\u00a0 I set a stop at 65.38.\u00a0 I was stopped out of the lot I bought at 65.50.\u00a0 I set my stop for below 65.25 for the rest.\u00a0 YUM pulled back to 65.30 where there was some strength on the tape.\u00a0 I bought some more with my line in the sand of below 65.25. \u00a0 This is where YUM would show a clear intraday reversal for my trading time frame.
