There’s one thing that Bella always says: \u00a0The trading day doesn’t end until 4PM. \u00a0That’s especially true with markets like the one we’re currently in.On Friday, I was having a very rough day. \u00a0What was even more frustrating was that I was underperforming. \u00a0I could not believe that the type of day I had envisioned months ago was the day I would have the most frustration trading. \u00a0I got stopped out twice on Friday, and I was on the verge of almost going home at three different points of the day. \u00a0I was trying to be patient, but nothing was working for me.Going into the close, I was hoping the market would pick a direction and begin to move in that direction. \u00a0Up or down, it didn’t matter to me, as long as it moved. \u00a0If the market moved lower I was going to short RIMM below 50. \u00a0And if it moved higher I was going to buy AAPL above 94. \u00a0Needless to say, the market moved higher and I ended up trading AAPL on the long side. \u00a0I focused on just making one good trade at a time. \u00a0Within minutes I had made back all the money I had lost earlier, and finished positive on the day.Today was another day where I grinded it out during the day to catch a nice upmove into the close. \u00a0There’s so much money out there on the open, but you have to understand that even if you don’t maximize on the opportunity at the beginning of the day, you still have the rest of the day.The next time you’re frustrated with your trading, and feel like you’re trading poorly, you have to have the sense to take a step back and tell yourself that it’s a long day. \u00a0Be patient and wait for your opportunities.\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
