Like many of you I am a technical trader.  I look for a particular set of parameters that meet my definition of a trading edge. When present I decide to put my money at risk.  But just like any endeavor where risk is involved there is no guarantee of success.  In the case of trading there is no guarantee that a trade will make money.  In other words, there is always the risk of failure.  How a trader prepares for and deals with the inevitability of failure can make all the difference in the trader’s overall performance.  The following articles can help each of us prepare and deal with the inevitable.

In order to understand failure we must learn to tolerate it.

Understanding the dangerous emotions associated with the trading process can help us recognize the roots of failure.

Recognizing the common causes of failure can help us better manage the failure.

Coping with losses is coping with failure.

The best practices in trading can help us overcome past trading failures.

Overcoming the failure rate of a proprietary trader.

You can sniff out the characteristics of failure.

The list of reasons for failure is endless so get to work on it NOW.

Failure is part of the PROCESS but learning from failure can help to enhance the OUTCOME.
